Human trafficking is most often thought of as a ‘not in my backyard’ issue. However, the Lehigh Valley is not immune to the atrocities of human trafficking. Truck stops, hotels, massage parlors, and street corners are just some of the locations that these crimes take place. In the last year alone, over 45 sex trafficking victims were identified in Lehigh County through Aspire’s local outreach partners.
This is why we ASPIRE!
At the Art for Autonomy event, Aspire has invited local wine companies, microbreweries and distilleries to provide drinks and local restaurants to provide delicious foods. In addition, many local businesses have provided items for raffles. Music provided by DJ Brad Scott and a few local bands.
