ASPIRE’s Community Intervention Services (CIS) provides aa comprehensive human services network designed to support individuals in crisis, those facing substance use disorders, and survivors of human trafficking. Our CIS initiative consists of three core community-based programs: CIS: Prevention and Outreach, CIS: Specialized Case Management Services, and CIS: Specialized Trauma-Focused and Person-Centered Therapy. These programs are dedicated to fostering stability, recovery, and long-term well-being through trauma-informed, person-centered approaches.
Our CIS: Prevention and Outreach program focuses on connecting underserved individuals with vital resources and services. Our outreach workers have extensive knowledge of mental health issues, substance use disorders, housing instability, and harm reduction practices. By working directly in the community, our outreach workers act as critical links between individuals and essential services such as mental health treatment, addiction recovery, physical healthcare, and housing support.
We host psychoeducational groups in collaboration with community partners such as New Bethany Ministries, The Palmer Recovery Center, and the Lehigh Valley Drug and Alcohol Intake Unit to deliver resources and education on harm reduction, mental health, and wellness practices. Through these efforts, we ensure that individuals at risk are empowered with knowledge and support that promotes recovery and resilience.
Our Specialized Case Management Services program offers recovery-focused support for individuals with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and those re-entering society after incarceration. We specialize in working with survivors of human trafficking, ensuring that they receive trauma-informed care and access to essential services that help them rebuild their lives. Our case managers collaborate with the human services system to reduce unnecessary incarceration, support successful re-entry into the community, and decrease recidivism.
By targeting underserved areas in the Lehigh Valley, we work to identify individuals who have experienced addiction, been involved in the criminal justice system, or are at high risk of being trafficked. Our proactive approach ensures these individuals receive specialized care, comprehensive support, and pathways to sustainable recovery and independence.
ASPIRE’s Specialized Trauma-Focused and Person-Centered Therapy program delivers customized therapy services to survivors of human trafficking and individuals at risk of exploitation. This program builds strong partnerships with local organizations to bring on-site therapy services directly to individuals in need. By eliminating barriers to access, we offer consistent mental health support and create safe spaces for healing and recovery.
Our trauma-informed therapists work with clients to address complex trauma, helping them regain control of their lives. Through collaborative community partnerships, we meet clients where they are—both physically and emotionally—ensuring they receive consistent, high-quality care in welcoming environments.
